Site Manager for high-voltage projects - North Jutland

As Site Manager at the electrical grid company N1 you will have a role of great importance, freedom with responsibility and an opportunity to shape the future energy infrastructure. You will be responsible for the daily management of the execution on one or more of our high-voltage projects in North Jutland.

You will become the central liaison between project managers, contractors, technicians and other collaborators and ensure that projects are implemented safely, efficiently and in accordance with agreed requirements for time, budget and quality.

You will become part of our construction department, where we work with 60 kV substations and cable projects. The department is spread across several locations, and you will work closely with both project managers and site managers across the organization.

The job

As Site Manager you are responsible for the daily operation and management of the execution part of our high-voltage projects. You join the project group and ensure that the designed facility is implemented correctly, safely and efficiently.

You will, among other things

• Plan and coordinate the daily work together with the project manager, contractors and technicians.
• Ensure that the projects are delivered within the agreed budget, timeline and quality.
• Lead and coordinate internal and external resources on the construction site.
• Ensure that the work is performed in accordance with legislation, safety requirements and occupational health and safety requirements.
• Foster good collaboration with contractors, internal colleagues, authorities and landowners.
• Ensure that the documentation matches the completed facility.
• Maintain an overview and find solutions when changes occur along the way.

You will have a daily life with varying tasks and great freedom to coordinate and perform your own tasks. You will typically drive to your tasks from your home or from the Aalborg office, and it is therefore required that you have a valid driver's license.

We do not expect you to know it all from the start. You will receive thorough training and be well prepared for the role, among other things through close sparring with experienced colleagues.

Who are you?

To succeed in the role we would like you to have an electrical engineering background, for example as an electrical installer, electrician, utility operator, marine engineer or similar. If you have other relevant experience with leading execution tasks and coordinating projects, we would also very much like to hear from you.

• Keep an overview, even when daily life becomes complex.
