The Tax Administration needs more new colleagues for our complaint unit

Our unit – The Complaint Unit

In the complaints unit we handle many types of complaint cases. The cases are treated partly through administrative review and partly by legal action. In addition, we work in the office with other types of complaints and take on internal teaching tasks within the Tax Administration.

Handling of complaint cases

Depending on your profile, you will work with complaint handling within the collection area, where your areas of work, depending on your competences, will include, among others:

• Drafting opinions to the administrative appeal authority
• Representing cases in the enforcement court regarding parking and control fines
• Representing cases in the enforcement court regarding appeals over levies performed by the bailiff
• Co-responsible in cassation cases
• Answering complex complaints from citizens and businesses
• Coaching on legal issues to your colleagues, etc.

The workplace is one of our 4 locations in Roskilde, Middelfart, Randers or Thisted.

If you are the candidate who primarily will handle cases about complaints over the bailiff’s seizure, the workplace will be our Roskilde location and you will handle cases in the courts on Zealand.

If you are the candidate who primarily will perform legal complaint handling, you will be based at one of our locations that suits your residence. This candidate will also be able to appear in the enforcement courts in connection with handling complaints about parking and control fines and will be assigned cases in the courts within the geographic area.

Professionally strong employees with good communication skills

A common requirement for the positions is that you have a relevant educational background at the master's level, e.g. cand.jur. It is an advantage if you are familiar with case processing, preferably within administrative law, debt collection law and contract law.

If you are the candidate who will handle cases about complaints over seizures, we would like you to have procedural experience and perhaps additional training as a lawyer. You must have a good legal understanding and experience with civil procedure or enforcement proceedings.

We imagine that you can communicate professionally and clearly both in writing and orally. Since we work with people who are often in a financially difficult situation, it is important that you can establish and maintain a constructive dialogue based on mutual trust and understanding. You should also thrive in a fast-paced work environment, and particularly if you appear in the enforcement courts, the workday can be unpredictable.

We will naturally prepare you for the tasks. You will therefore be introduced to the Tax Administration and your upcoming unit and will, if necessary, receive an introduction to the applicable legislation, etc., to ensure the best basis for our future collaboration.

The Complaint Unit consists of 25 professionally and legally strong colleagues, where sparring is at the center to ensure expertise. Our headquarters is in Roskilde, but we also have colleagues in Thisted, Middelfart and Randers. The office focuses on balance, because although we are passionate about our work and willing to give 110%, we also know that it can only be achieved when there is room for friends, family and hobbies.

You will be employed under the collective agreements applicable to academics in the state (AC).
