Through play, activities and joint projects we make space for their ideas and imagination, and we believe that children grow when they have influence and can put their own stamp on everyday life. We are also a big part of the school, where we work in fixed year-group teams and are a constant part of the children's school day.

…Rikke Yde Tordrup’s attachment theory and work with us as base-valued adults for the children. We have structured our SFO according to these principles, and we use it as a common language in our work with the children both at school and in the SFO. We are especially attentive to age-appropriate regulation and how we can be the safe base throughout the child’s day.

Salary and employment terms

Educator: Salary and employment terms are set according to the applicable collective agreement. Base salary for the lowest pay grade is DKK 31,446 per month, excluding pension. In addition, qualification and function allowances can be agreed.

Assistant educator: Salary and employment terms are set according to the applicable collective agreement. Base salary for the lowest pay grade is DKK 25,956.86 per month, excluding pension. In addition, qualification and function allowances can be agreed.

We are a UNICEF Rights School, which means that in daily life we have a strong focus on student involvement and participation.

We have a rich nature with sea, fjord, dunes, fields, forests and meadows. This is a large and important part of students', educators' and teachers' everyday life. The school's values are expressed in seven guiding principles: explore, inspire, participate, create, strive, conquer, together – which we develop and unfold together throughout the year.

A strong local anchoring Our 85 employees have many different competencies and interests – and everyone has a big heart for the school, the local community and each student. Our 510 students are wonderful, fun and curious, and we always work from an inclusive perspective – both in the classroom, in the hallways and in the office. It is therefore important that you meet the community and life that exists at the school and the office with a smile, calm and an overview.

As part of Hundested School as a whole, we have a strong influence on the development of the local area, and we take that responsibility very seriously. We have a large local network with associations and businesses as close partners, and we often use opportunities to plan the teaching in collaboration with them.
