Social and Health Care Assistant for Orthopaedic Surgery Ward at Horsens Regional Hospital.

We are seeking a Social and Healthcare Assistant for a permanent position from 1.1 2027 or by agreement. We offer 37 hours/week, every 3rd weekend. The working hours are a mix of day, evening and night shifts.

The orthopedic surgery department provides care and treatment of patients with acute and elective patient pathways. The orthopedic specialty covers hand surgery, shoulder/elbow surgery, foot/ankle surgery, hip and knee and amputations. We have a varied daily routine with many exciting patient pathways.

The ward is normed to 28 beds and is located on the 4th floor in new premises with a fantastic view. We are approximately 40 staff members in the ward. Two specialty-responsive nurses, three clinical coordinators and two chief nurses. We have a close collaboration with clinical dietitian, physiotherapists and occupational therapists, medical secretaries and service assistants as well as doctors.

• Has good communication skills

• Has good collaboration skills that can participate in interdisciplinary collaborative relationships.
• Will contribute to the good atmosphere in the department.
• Has good IT skills and can use the electronic patient journal
