Social and Health Care Assistant with mentoring function sought for Plejecenter Havgården

At Havgården we are looking for a social- and health care assistant with a mentoring/supervisor function, who is motivated to create meaningful daily life for our residents and at the same time wants to contribute to the development of our students.

We are seeking one social- and health care assistant with start December 1, 2026 or by agreement . The position is 37 hours from Monday to Friday, and you will be part of the care around our residents in close collaboration with skilled colleagues.

A thorough and secure start

As part of our focus on good recruitment and retention we offer a longer introduction period than usual. You will be assigned a mentor, and you will have plenty of time to build professional competences and to establish relationships in the house. There will be ongoing conversations with both manager and mentor, so you get a solid and safe training program.

Focus on the students

As a social- and health care assistant you participate in the daily operation at Havgården and perform tasks within your competence area. In addition you will have a special role concerning our SSA and SSH students, as you will become one of Havgården's two internship supervisors.

You therefore share responsibility for ensuring a good learning environment, supporting the students' academic development and contributing to their safe and educational internship. It is therefore a prerequisite that you want to – or are interested in – the mentoring role and working with students.

About Havgården

Havgården is located in beautiful surroundings with forest on one side, Løkken Stadium on the other and a kindergarten as the nearest neighbor – children often pass by and create life and joy. We have 38 bright and spacious apartments , distributed in a secured ward with 12 residents and a somatic unit with 26 residents. The common areas are inviting and function as natural meeting points during the day.

We place great emphasis on residents experiencing safety, dignity and an active daily life. Therefore we arrange regular activities both indoors and outdoors – including Fastelavn, “Trip to Thailand”, Summer Party and Harvest Market, which are fixed traditions.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a social- and health care assistant who

• meets residents, relatives and colleagues with respect and presence

Experience from elderly care, home care or geriatrics is an advantage, but not a requirement.
