Social and Healthcare Assistant on day shift at Peder Lykke Center – with dementia expertise and training supervisor function

Peder Lykke Centret is a large and vibrant care center with space for 152 residents spread over six departments. We are known for our diversity profile, where people with roots around the world can have a daily life in safe and good surroundings. Your tasks will include

• To provide care and nursing to residents with a focus on quality of life
• To work with citizen involvement, rehabilitation and early detection to prevent functional decline and unnecessary hospitalizations
• To perform nursing tasks such as medication management, tube feeding, palliation and wound care
• To help create good meal experiences and support activities
• To act as a training supervisor for students, including introduction, daily guidance, feedback and reflection on practice
• To contribute to an open and learning work environment with focus on knowledge sharing and dementia professional development

About you

• You are educated social- and health care assistant and have experience and strong professionalism within the dementia field
• You are educated training supervisor or want to undertake this role
• You are passionate about creating a meaningful and safe daily life for residents
• You work structured and can both take responsibility and give room for learning

Employment terms

The position is generally full-time with day shifts and weekend shifts every 3rd weekend.

Start as soon as possible.

Salary and employment terms according to the current collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation.

In connection with the appointment we will obtain a child and criminal record check as well as references.
