We are recruiting for two parts of our organization

Secured department

We are looking for you! In newly renovated buildings you will collaborate with experienced teams to create the competent provision for the youths in care. Everyday life is full of structure and pedagogical interventions, which are grounded in considerations about brain development, demand adaptation and Low Arousal. We take pride in documenting so that there can be a continued progression for the young person after placement at Bakkegården.

There is much that can be written and told about working in a secured department, but it must be felt! Can you function behind the fence with a truly large amount of authority, without becoming domineering? Can you talk to the youths about what is difficult, without becoming emotionally over-involved? These are just two questions among many that must be addressed.

We work with fixed rosters, integrity, job security, professional development, good collegial atmosphere, thorough onboarding/training and much more to reassure you in everyday life.

Birkehus - Partly closed / special measures

We are looking for an engaged and professionally strong pedagogical employee for our team, who can make a positive difference for our residents/children/youths.

The actual position

As a pedagogical employee with us you will be part of a professional community focused on the core task: to create development, well-being and quality of life for those we are here for. You can work in a structured way based on the needs and resources of the individual youth.

We emphasize that you

• Have a clear focus on the core task and can translate set professional goals into practice.
• Work from a neuro-pedagogical approach and can adapt your intervention accordingly
• Have experience with Low Arousal as a method.
• Are stable, responsible and punctual.
• Are a team player who actively contributes to a good working environment.
• Have experience with documentation and can work systematically with written follow-up.

Employment area

Starting salary for employees covered by the collective agreement

The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of the base salary, centrally set allowances and pension under the relevant collective agreement. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.

About Bakkegården

Bakkegården is a nationwide secure institution, and a competence center for youths with mental disabilities with criminal behavior.

Bakkegården consists of secured departments, open departments, sheltered units, special measures and individual projects. In addition, we have an attached school and workshops.
