Social Media Assistant for Fyns Amts Avis

Are you a pro in front of the camera, do you have your finger on the local pulse - and can you edit videos so people want to stop scrolling? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for.

Fyns Amts Avis is looking for a student assistant as a SoMe assistant and SoMe host who can help develop our presence on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and faa.dk.

You will become part of a SoMe universe, where we produce journalism close to the daily lives of people on the south coast of Funen. It could be anything from testing a new cafe and taking the temperature of urban life to meeting local people, covering events, culture and trends, or finding the stories that make people stop in their feed.

You need to be both in front of and behind the camera

You will, among other things, be

• host and appear in videos
• come up with ideas for content based on local life
• film and edit short videos
• keep up with local trends, events and stories
• collaborate with journalists and the editorial team to bring stories to life on SoMe

The most important thing is that you have a flair for storytelling on video, that you are natural in front of the camera and that you want to try out ideas.

We imagine that you

• are local and know the south Funen area
• are good at talking to people you don't know
• have ideas and dare to bring them to life
• have a good sense of what works on social media
• can film and edit yourself
• can work independently and participate in editorial collaboration

You don't need to be able to do everything from day one. We are looking for a curious person with personality and a desire to create content that makes the people of southern Funen stop and look.

Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut is a big advantage.

Flexible hours

The position is up to 20 hours per week, and the number of hours is flexible by agreement.

Working hours can be planned as needed, but you must be able to come in a few times a week and film between 9 and 15 at the editorial office with the possibility of finishing editing the videos from home. Evening and weekend work may occur. It is not a requirement that you are a student.

Your background is not decisive, but your personality and desire to create engaging content is the first priority.
