Social- and Health Care Helper and Assistant at Sifsgård Nursing Home

We are looking for a social and health care helper and a licensed social- and health care assistant, who will help create safe surroundings for the residents and at the same time contribute to the ongoing development of our nursing home.

Please note that the position falls within the 24/7 area. Currently, the service is expected to be mainly day shifts. There is an option to work every 2nd or every 3rd weekend.

Your tasks

As a social- and health care helper you will play a central role in the health care efforts around the residents. Your tasks will include, among others:

• personal care and support,
• medication management and health care observations,
• d documentation and follow-up,
• coordination of actions around the residents,
• collaboration with relatives, doctors and other partners,
• participation in the development of professional practice at Sifsgård.

It is important that you

• are educated as a social- and health care helper or a social- and health care assistant,
• can work independently and take responsibility for your tasks,
• meet residents, relatives and colleagues with respect and decency,
• focus on residents' wishes, needs and self-determination,
• positively contribute to the collaboration and the work environment,
• want to be part of a house in development and change.

It is an advantage if you

• have experience from the elderly care field or nursing homes,
• have an interest in quality development and improvement work,
• thrive in a everyday life where we learn from each other,
• see opportunities in changes and wish to contribute to the development of practice.

About Sifsgård Nursing Home

Sifsgård Nursing Home consists of 59 apartments and is home to people with different life stories, wishes and needs.

Our common professional foundation is Person-Centered Care. This means that we meet the residents as people first and start from what matters to them in their daily lives.

We are currently working with the implementation of the Elderly Act, where the focus is on residents' self-determination, involvement and quality of life. Therefore we are focused on creating solutions together with the residents rather than to the residents.

At the same time, we are a nursing home in development. Through our improvement team and our work with learning from adverse events, we systematically work to improve quality for the benefit of both residents and staff.

Salary and terms of employment

The position is intended to start on January 1, 2027.

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement and after concrete negotiation with the negotiating professional organization.

Weekly working hours: 37 hours.
