Social and health care assistant apprentices sought for Foundation Course 2 + SSH education starting 18 January 2027 at ZBC Køge

Then we have an exciting apprenticeship for you. We are seeking social and health care assistant apprentices for Køge Municipality, and we guarantee an apprenticeship placement for both the basic and main courses.

Requirements You must have Danish and mathematics at the 9th grade level with a grade of 02 or higher.

Who are we? Køge Municipality continuously enrolls and trains social and health care assistant apprentices.

Our practice placements in home care and on nursing homes focus on creating good learning environments, by making the apprentices a natural part of the colleagues group.

In each practice period you will have a supervisor who ensures you reach your practical goals through weekly guidance conversations and planned study time.

We also focus on a good introduction, so you as an apprentice feel completely safe with the tasks you will perform.

With us you get a broad insight into the position of social and health care helper, where the workday is filled with tasks, and you will experience that no two days are the same.

As a social and health care assistant apprentice you enter a training program that alternates between internship periods and school stays at one of ZBC’s departments.

The internship periods will take place in home care and at nursing homes in Køge Municipality.

When you enter into a training agreement with Køge Municipality, you will receive pay throughout the training.

Wage terms will be according to the applicable collective agreement with FOA www.foa.dk .

If you are aged 25 or older, you will receive adult apprentice pay.

Køge Municipality is your employer throughout the training.

In the training you will acquire competencies in cross-disciplinary collaboration around the citizen in relation to personal care, activities, and collaboration with relatives.

During your apprenticeship with us you will become familiar with, among other things

• Personal care and practical help for the citizen.
• Initiating activities together with the citizen.
• Supporting and helping the citizen to be active in their own life.
• Working with health promotion, disease prevention, and rehabilitation.
• Knowing the legislation and working professionally and responsibly within it.

When you complete your education as a social and health care assistant, there is a demand for you, and Køge Municipality has a wide range of positions you can undertake.

During your apprenticeship we expect that you are

The next cohort starts on January 18, 2027 and lasts 19 months, of which the first 20 weeks are Foundation Course 2.
