Social- and health care helper apprentice for the main program January 2027

We are seeking engaged social and health care assistants with employment on a main course starting on 18 January 2027.

As a student in Rebild municipality you are guaranteed employment in Rebild municipality after completing the education.

The employment includes

• Main course to become a Social- and Health Care Assistant with a duration of 1 year and 2 months. The main course alternates between school stays at SOSU nord and training at an elderly care center and/or in home care.

About the education

In your education to become a social- and health care assistant you will meet different people – young people, elderly, sick, disabled, etc. Therefore it is important that you as a person have understanding, curiosity, empathy and an interest in other people.

As a social- and health care assistant you learn to support citizens in their daily life. It can be personal care, help to handle practical tasks, rehabilitation or creating structure and security in everyday life. You will practice noticing the citizen's needs, listening, communicating and working professionally.

• That you have a valid residence and work permit.

What should be included with your application?

• Documentation for basic course 2. Exam certificate or admission letter.
• A motivated application plus CV.
• If you are 25 years or older, you must include a Real Competence Assessment prepared by SOSU Nord.
• Copy of residence and work permit if you are not a Danish citizen.
• A declaration/recommendation from your current/previous employer is welcome.
• If you are approved as an adult apprentice please attach the pre-approval.

What should be included with your application for Grundforløb 2

• A motivated application plus CV.
