We are seeking social and health care helpers apprentices for Køge Municipality, and we guarantee an apprenticeship placement throughout the entire education.

Admission requirements Foundation course 2 focused on SOSU.

Who are we? Køge Municipality hires and trains social- and health care helpers apprentices on an ongoing basis.

Our practice placements in home care and at nursing homes focus on creating good learning environments by making the apprentices a natural part of the colleague group.

In each internship you will have a supervisor who ensures you reach your internship goals through weekly mentoring conversations and planned study time.

We also focus on a good introduction so that you as an apprentice feel completely confident in the tasks you will perform.

With us you get a broad insight into the role of social- and health care helper, where the workday is full of tasks, and you will experience that no two days are the same.

As a social- and health care helper apprentice you will enter a training program that alternates between practical placements and school blocks at one of ZBC’s departments.

Internships will take place in home care and in nursing homes in Køge Municipality.

When you enter into a training agreement with Køge Municipality, you will be paid throughout the entire education.

Salary terms will be according to the applicable agreement with FOA www.foa.dk .

If you are over 25 years old, you will receive adult apprentice pay.

Køge Municipality is your employer throughout the education.

During your apprentice period with us you will become familiar with

• Personal care and practical help for the citizen.
• Initiating activities together with the citizen.
• Supporting and helping the citizen to be active in their own life.
• Working health-promoting, disease-preventive, and rehabilitative.
• Knowing the legislation and working professionally and responsibly within it.

When you have completed you training as a social- and health care helper, there is a demand for you, and Køge Municipality has a wide range of positions you can hold.

The training starts on January 18, 2027 and lasts 14 months.
