One of your main goals is to help ensure that the residents who live here live the lives they want and dream of.

You will guide, motivate and support each individual to achieve their life goals.

Your tasks are varied, from personal care, packed-lunch prep, games, music, outings, presence, etc.

There are 9 residents in Team B, with varying needs for assistance in all aspects of life; what they have in common is that they look forward to welcoming you, especially if you are up for something fun.

You will become part of an environment where we will use your and your new colleagues' professional expertise to create a safe and developmental environment, along with plenty of care, joy and fun in everyday life.

In addition, work is targeted at the physical surroundings to create calm, balance and communities everyone can belong to.

The staff group consists of 13 colleagues who look forward to welcoming you.

Søvænge is a social-pedagogical residential facility for adults with physical and/or mental disabilities. We are located very close to Ølstykke S-train station – in fact it takes only 5-6 minutes to walk to Søvænge from the train.

For us it is crucial that you can work with co-determination and involvement in everyday tasks according to each individual's abilities. We value that residents feel safe and have a high degree of influence over their own lives. In your work there is therefore also a natural respect for the resident's right to self-determination.

At Søvænge we are in the middle of an exciting development process, focusing on the neuro-pedagogical framework in the educational work. This means that we have planned training in neuro-pedagogy and receive neuro-pedagogical sparring continuously, so that we together enhance our skills and create a strong professional work community.

Furthermore, it is central that health professional and pedagogical professional perspectives are weighed equally and pursued together in the work. Therefore you must also be prepared to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with, among others, nurses.
