About the job

Social-educational coordinator for Move1 - 32-37 hours per week based in Stenløse

Do you have a strong social-educational overview, are you strong in writing, and do you like to be the one who helps to pull the threads together?

Then it might be you we are looking for.

At Move1 we are looking for a social-educational coordinator who wants to take responsibility, be close to our family interventions, and become part of our professional community.

With us there is room for professionalism, diversity, and humor. We do not always have the answers in advance, but we are good at being curious together. We share our reflections, help each other, and also dare to talk about what is difficult.

What will you do with us?

You will take a central role in coordinating and ensuring the professional quality of our family interventions. You will work closely with our family counselors, family therapists, psychologists, and the daily manager.

Your tasks will include, among other things, to

  • Plan and hold pedagogical intervention meetings (PIM), where we discuss the families' development, the intervention goals, concerns, and next steps.
  • Co-author employees' observations and professional considerations into status descriptions that provide a nuanced picture of the family's situation and development.
  • Read employees' job descriptions, provide concrete feedback, and request elaboration when something is missing or should be stated more clearly.
  • Maintain ongoing contact with municipal social workers about interventions, status, follow-up, and agreements.
  • Keep an overview of the family interventions and follow up on agreements, deadlines, and tasks.
  • Provide professional sparring and collaborate with the daily manager on planning and development of our interventions.

We place great emphasis on writing. You must be able to compile different observations and professional assessments into a text that clearly shows what we have seen, what we assess, and what development has occurred.

At the same time, it is important to us that the child's voice and the family's perspectives come through in both our descriptions and professional discussions.

You will also work directly with families

We want a coordinator who continues to be in touch with practical family work. Therefore you will also be attached to 1-2 family casework together with a psychologist or family therapist.

This means that you must be willing to participate in conversations and work with the families in their own homes. We believe it is a strength when the person who coordinates and provides professional sparring also knows the possibilities and dilemmas that arise in working with families.

Who are you?

We envision that you have a relevant social-educational education, for example as a social worker or social educator, and experience with children, youth, and families in vulnerable positions.

You may have worked with family treatment, authority work, or professional coordination. The most important thing is that you have a solid social-educational understanding, are strong in written communication, and are keen to use your professional knowledge together with others.

We hope that you

  • Can create overview and structure in a daily life with many different tasks.
  • Are a skilled writer who can express yourself precisely, with nuance and clarity.
  • Can provide clear and respectful feedback and dare to ask questions about professional assessments.
  • Have experience in collaborating with municipal social workers and other professionals.
  • Are curious about different perspectives and can maintain an overview, even when something becomes complex.
  • Want to take responsibility and be an active part of our work community.

You do not need to be an expert in the systemic and solution-focused approach, but you must be willing to learn and work from this professional foundation.

Who will you become part of?

Move1 is a family-owned company that since 2005 has worked with children, youth, and families in vulnerable positions. We collaborate, among other things, with municipalities and the Family Court about various social-educational interventions.

Our professional foundation is systemic thinking and the solution-focused approach. We are concerned with what families hope for, what already works, and how we can together find the next step. We take concerns seriously and also work to recognize resources and signs of change.

The perspectives of children and young people must be heard, taken seriously, and have meaning for the work that concerns their lives.

We place a high priority on the professional community and collegiality. We believe in the value of meeting in everyday life, being able to spar with each other, and being available when needed. Therefore we do not offer fixed home-working days.

Instead, we have flexible working hours within 7:00-18:00 on weekdays. You have a lot of influence on how you organize your work week, and there is an opportunity to distribute the hours across four or five workdays, depending on tasks, meetings, and needs.

We work with serious issues, and some days require both flexibility and extra collaboration. Therefore it matters to us that we enjoy working together, help each other, and can find room for humor in daily life.

Practical information

The position is 32-37 hours per week, based at our office in Stenløse in Egedal Municipality.

Part of the work also takes place at the families' homes and at meetings with partners - so you must have a driver's license and a car.
