Social worker – Byvejen (37 hours)

About Byvejen

Byvejen is Fredensborg Municipality's social-psychiatric offering for adult citizens in their own homes. We provide support according to the Danish Social Service Act sections 82 a-d, 85 and 99 and work in a recovery- and rehabilitation-oriented manner with a focus on mastery, participation and increased independence.

We believe that people develop best when they experience hope, empowerment and the opportunity to participate in meaningful communities. Therefore we combine individual support with group programs that strengthen social relations, well-being and quality of life.

Your everyday life with us

You will be part of an interdisciplinary team, where you work with both individual support programs and group-based initiatives.

No day is the same. One day you facilitate a group program, the next you support a citizen in creating structure in daily life, building social relations or getting closer to their own goals.

Your main tasks are to

• Plan, facilitate and develop group programs.
• Carry out individual support programs under the Social Services Act §§ 82 - 85.
• Work purposefully with citizens' mastery, well-being and development.
• Support citizens' participation in communities and meaningful activities.
• Collaborate with authorities, colleagues and other professionals.
• Document actions and follow up on goals and progression.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of our professional practice.

The target group is adults with mental or social challenges, including citizens with autism, ADHD, developmental difficulties or acquired brain injury.

We are looking for a colleague with a relevant social professional education, e.g. as a pedagogue, social worker, social and healthcare assistant, occupational therapist or similar.

Practical information

The position is 37 hours per week.

The working hours are on weekdays within normal working hours between 08:00 and 18:00

The workplace is Byvejen 14, 2990 Nivå.

Travel in connection with citizen programs should be expected, so own car must be usable. Electric bicycles are provided.

Salary and employment terms are according to the applicable collective agreement and the principles for local pay setting. A police certificate and references are obtained in connection with employment.
