About the job

The treatment team works with social-educational treatment conversations combined with health-care interventions. The focus is to create a meaningful life for the dependent in collaboration with family/networks and professionals based on a systemic, cognitive and rehabilitative reference framework.

In the treatment conversation part you will, through structured cognitive conversation processes, support the citizen's goals with the treatment. The conversations will take place both individually and in groups and will have a strong focus on the family perspective.

• Individual talk therapy
• Family-oriented conversations
• Health care and medical treatment
• Anonymous counseling
• Caregiver conversations (individually and in groups)
• Consulting assistance to partners

You will work exclusively on weekdays and during daytime hours.

We place emphasis on having experience with working with substance addiction from the cognitive reference framework, and that you have experience with and knowledge of working with motivation and ambivalence, both before and during a treatment effort. It is important that you can put yourself in the citizen's world and ensure the rehabilitative perspective with the citizen as an active participant.

You will become part of an interdisciplinary team of 8 colleagues consisting of both social and health care professionals. The team is responsible for the overall substance treatment and works based on and draws inspiration from evidence-based methods, including national clinical guidelines, with a perspective on good alcohol treatment that should strengthen the quality of the effort. The team is characterized by open and direct dialogue and a desire to succeed as a unified group.

About us

The Substance Center provides free prevention and outpatient substance treatment for citizens and relatives in relation to drug and/or alcohol misuse. The Substance Center handles both detoxification and substitution treatment and also has the option to refer to inpatient substance treatment. The Substance Center takes its starting point in the rehabilitative perspective, where the citizen's goals with the treatment guide the course.

The core task of RusmiddelCenter Vejle is

”That citizens cease, reduce or stabilize their experimental use or misuse of substances and achieve living the life they want with or without the use of substances”

Our framework is SEL §101 and SUL §142 (substance misuse treatment) and SUL §141 (alcohol treatment).

We expect from you

• That you have a social or health care education at bachelor level with interest in and preferably experience from working with citizens with substance dependence
• That you have knowledge of and experience with working with dual-diagnosed citizens – substance misuse and psychiatric burdens
• That you understand how to collaborate with other partners in the municipal and regional sector
• That you, as a person, are curious and willing to develop your own and shared practice for the benefit of the citizens
• That you are used to working systematically and ensure documentation and goal-oriented work
• That you have an interest in working with citizens with substance problems and their relatives and are able to develop respectful and acknowledging alliances
• That you are positive and caring and contribute to a good working environment

A permanent position and as a rule 37 hours, with employment from 01.01.27 at RusmiddelCenter Vejle at Horsensvej 35, Vejle.

Employment terms

Salary and employment terms according to collective agreement and the principles of local wage formation.
