Søbo Nursing Home is looking for a social- and health care assistant for the evening shift.

We are seeking a social- and health care assistant who would like to become part of our community at Søbo.

We are a close-knit staff group who help each other and value our differences and interdisciplinary collaboration. Of course, we ensure you receive a good introduction and settle well into our everyday life with us.

We are based in Bogense on Nordfyn with a sea view and a lovely large garden. We are a relatively small nursing home with 18 places, but we are facing an exciting expansion with three temporary respite places and a further six nursing home places. There is plenty of room to roam in the basement’s many square metres (speaking from experience!).

We are proud of the high well-being among both residents and staff, and this is something we actively prioritise. We work person-centred and take as our starting point the individual person’s wishes and needs. We use, among other things, the flower, the conflict ladder and the iceberg as shared professional tools.

Three times a week we have interdisciplinary triage, where we brainstorm, share observations and find good solutions together.

We are also proud of our collaboration with the local community. We have 14 volunteers in the house who contribute with everything from creative days and pancake baking to trips and events.

Who do we hope you are?

We are looking for a colleague who

• is trained as a social- and health care assistant
• can work independently and take responsibility for their health care tasks
• uses their professional expertise and actively contributes to the interdisciplinary collaboration
• is collaborative and enjoys helping to make their colleagues look good

It is important to us that you want to be part of preserving our good culture. With us it is okay to have an off day; we don’t need to be the same, and we remember that we are professionals when we go to work.

We also prioritise fellowship outside daily operations. We hold one to two staff events per year, where we have, among other things, been out for a meal, bowled and gone on a bison safari. We want to be there for one another – and hope you would like to be part of it.

Practical information

• The position is 28 hours per week in the evening shift
• Weekend shift in odd-numbered weeks (note the week change from next year)
• Start as soon as possible or no later than 1 January 2027

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement. Expected salary range will be disclosed at the first interview. Final salary will be set according to qualifications and experience and after concrete negotiations with the relevant trade union.

A criminal record check and references will be obtained before employment.
