Software Developer with strong SQL and .NET skills sought

LS Control is looking for a software developer with strong skills in SQL and C#, who would like to work with both existing systems and new solutions.

You will be part of a development department where software, electronics and hardware meet. We develop, among other things, solutions for controlling ventilation and heat pumps, and our software plays a central role in connecting the products with our IoT platform.

You will have independent responsibility, close collaboration with colleagues from different disciplines, and the opportunity to influence the technical decisions.

Your responsibilities

A central part of the role is to maintain, optimize and further develop our existing software solutions, including Smart Connect Center (SCC), our platform for administration and fleet management of IoT devices.

Your tasks will include, among other things

• Development and optimization of SQL solutions, databases and stored procedures.
• Maintenance and further development of applications in C# and .NET.
• Development of REST APIs and integrations between different systems.
• Debugging and optimization with focus on performance, stability and uptime.
• Contributing to technical decisions, new features and future software solutions.

A large part of the work takes place in existing systems, which you must be able to understand and continue to develop. In time there may also be an opportunity to participate in modernizing parts of our software platform.

Who are you?

We imagine you are an independent and structured software developer who thrives on understanding complex systems and translating technical challenges into well-functioning solutions.

We expect that you have

• A relevant higher education at least at bachelor level in software development, computer science, IT or similar.
• Strong skills in SQL and relational databases, preferably MariaDB.
• Solid experience with C# and .NET.
• A good understanding of database optimization, REST APIs and system integration.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Ability to work independently and familiarize yourself with existing code and complex systems.

Additionally, experience with technologies such as WPF/XAML, Entity Framework, Docker, TypeScript, React or Node.js would be a plus. Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux and IoT communication is also relevant but not required.

You work in a structured way, have an eye for quality and take responsibility for your tasks. At the same time you value professional sparring and collaboration across disciplines.

At LS Control you will become part of a development department with three software developers, ten embedded developers, two hardware designers and a development manager.

We work closely across disciplines, and there is a short path from idea to technical solution. You will have the opportunity to follow the products from the first development phases to the finished solutions.
