Software Engineer

TRESU is an international, leading manufacturer of customized flexographic printing presses and advanced automation solutions for the global packaging industry. From the headquarters in Kolding, TRESU develops and delivers complex machine systems to customers worldwide.

As part of increased activity and a strategic focus on more advanced automation, TRESU now strengthens the automation department with an experienced software engineer. You report to the Head of Automation, and you will be part of a team with high professionalism, close sparring and extensive contact with both projects, service and the rest of the organization.

Your day-to-day will be varied and alternate between software development, technical sparring, project work, troubleshooting and commissioning - both internally and closely with the solutions that must function at the customer. The position entails about 40–60 travel days per year, primarily in connection with commissioning and support at customers.

You can look forward to the following areas of responsibility

• Development and programming of software for complex machine systems and automation solutions
• PLC and motion programming as well as software and system design
• Participation in projects from start-up to commissioning and handover to the customer
• Development and standardization of TRESU's software platforms
• Technical sparring and collaboration with Engineering, service, project managers, product owners, service and external partners
• Troubleshooting and support on existing machine systems

We imagine that you

• Have solid experience with PLC programming and motion control, as well as strong competencies in Siemens TIA Portal
• Experience with WinCC / Unified HMI and familiarity with Rockwell, B&R and PACK-ML standard
• Have a good understanding of electrical, hardware, mechanics and the interplay in complex machine systems
• Work analytically, structured and independently and thrive on solving complex technical problems
• Have the perspective to look beyond the individual task and contribute to the whole, standardization and the long-term development of automation solutions
• Are engaged, curious and motivated to contribute actively to both solutions and the team's development
• Actively contribute to collaboration and knowledge sharing and thrive in a role with broad contact surface

Your educational background could, for example, be engineer, marine engineer, automation technologist, automation technician or similar. You master Danish and English at a good technical level.
