Apply for this job At Købstædernes Forsikring we are looking for an experienced and business-oriented solution architect who can bridge business, development and technology.

You will play a central role in, among other things, the development of our core system and our upcoming AI solutions. Together with developers, business specialists, data personnel and management you will ensure that new solutions are robust, scalable, secure and create real value for customers and employees.

We primarily work with C#-based development and a landscape consisting of both core systems, integrations and data platforms.

Your role

You will have a clear mandate to define solution design and make technical design decisions within your area of responsibility. You translate business needs into robust, future-proof solutions and are responsible for the architectural choices in the projects and initiatives you drive. Within the established architecture principles and technology standards you make independent decisions about, among other things, integration patterns, API design, data flows and handling of technical risks.

Larger technology and architecture choices are addressed in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture, the security function and relevant governance forums.

You will, among other things, be involved in

• Preparing solution designs for new initiatives within AI and development of our core system.
• Ensuring alignment between business requirements, architecture and implementation.
• Designing integrations, APIs and data flows across the system landscape.
• Participating in analysis work and developing As-Is and To-Be architectures.
• Collaborating closely with C# developers, product owners and project managers.
• Carrying out architecture reviews and identifying technical risks.
• Ensuring that solutions comply with requirements for security, GDPR, DORA and other regulatory requirements.
• Contributing to the establishment of AI governance, architecture principles and standards for the use of AI.

Who are you?

We imagine that you have experience as a solution architect, software architect, lead developer or similar role.

You have probably experience with

Technology

• C# and the .NET platform.
• API design and integration architecture.
• Data modeling and SQL-based solutions.
• Cloud technologies and modern application architecture.
• AI or machine learning projects – or a strong desire to work in the area.

Architecture

• Solution architecture and application architecture.
• Documentation of technical solutions.
• Design of complex system landscapes.
• Governance, standardization and architecture principles.

Personal competences

• You are analytical and structured.
• You can communicate complex technical topics in an understandable way.
• You thrive in the collaboration between business and IT.
• You are curious about new technologies and see opportunities rather than constraints.
• You have the ability to create direction and make decisions in complex projects.

You are particularly attractive if you have experience with

• Insurance systems or financial systems
• AI agents or generative AI
• Enterprise architecture
• DORA, GDPR or other regulatory requirements
• DevOps and modern development methods

About the team

You will become part of the Strategy, Architecture and IT Security area and will work closely with the development organization within our core system, Online, Services, integrations and AI.
