About the job

The Climate, Environment and Technical Administration strengthens the work to ensure operable construction projects and seeks a specialized consultant for a newly established position for a two-year project appointment. You will be the link between the administration's operational units for road infrastructure, and you will be responsible for further developing processes, practices and tools for calculation and coordination of the operational downstream effects of construction projects.

About the job

The Climate, Environment and Technical Administration's construction portfolio is large and the administration builds parks, roads, ensures safe school routes, climate adaptation projects and much more for about 1 billion DKK annually. It is essential that the construction projects can be operated, and that the right funds are allocated to operate them when the construction projects are completed.

You will be responsible for developing a newly established function with the purpose of developing new tools for calculating downstream operations and optimizing the practice for disbursement of operating funds, as well as ensuring solid and timely coordination across the administration. This happens in close collaboration with a corresponding function in the Department of City Nature and Maintenance, which among other things is responsible for parks and street maintenance.

Your primary tasks will be to coordinate downstream operation calculations across the operating functions and prepare formalized workflows for the collaboration between Mobility, Climate Adaptation and City Maintenance and City Nature and Maintenance. Furthermore, you must ensure that the operating functions receive funds in a timely manner and develop tools for this.

You will have close collaboration with a number of professional groups and units in the administration. We offer a daily life with broad professional breadth, where you play a key role in coordinating downstream operation and have the opportunity to develop and optimize the process between construction and operation in relation to the areas of road infrastructure, i.e. roads, bridges, street lighting and traffic signals.

Your main tasks will include

  • coordinate and implement downstream operation
  • develop a tool for calculating/ coordinating downstream operation
  • optimize process and workflow descriptions for downstream operation across the administration's operating departments
  • develop an operations platform with a view to optimizing the process for archiving and learning from previous projects
  • prepare material for the administration's forum that shall ensure operable construction projects
  • contribute to and follow up on the administration's evaluations of construction projects with special characteristics
  • various cross-cutting tasks with workflow descriptions and smaller organizational project management tasks and similar.

About you

We expect that you have an academic background with experience from coordination and process optimization. It is an advantage if you have a solid systems-technical understanding with a view to developing new tools. In addition, we emphasize that you

  • coordinate and relay complex calculations with a view to timely implementation of downstream operating funds and development of new tools
  • have good numerical and financial understanding
  • can design and possibly develop calculation and coordination tools
  • are good at building relationships and driving processes
  • are curious, solution- and holistic-oriented, able to work independently and good at written and verbal communication
  • are collaborative and eager to make things succeed in partnership with leaders and colleagues.
