Social and Health Care Assistant sought for Balling Nursing Home – Area 2.

Are you passionate about delivering professionally grounded care and support, where residents' wishes, resources and quality of life are at the center? Then you might be our new social and health care assistant.

We are looking for a Social and Health Care Assistant for 37 hours, primarily day shifts, from 1 January 2027 or by agreement.

At Balling Nursing Home we work every day to create a safe and meaningful everyday life for our residents. We believe that high professionalism and strong relationships are the foundation for good care, and we therefore seek a social and health care assistant who wants to actively contribute to the professional development and quality of task execution.

Balling Nursing Home has capacity for 25 residents. You will be part of a close collaboration with the other professional groups in the house and you can receive sparring with the two nurses in the house.

Weekend shifts are included in the position. We expect an open dialogue about your wishes and possibilities, so that together we can find a solution that accommodates both your needs and the nursing home’s operation.

• Triage: We hold daily meetings where we discuss each resident's situation and needs
• Project Life’s Ending: We are part of a two-year project about how we can give seriously ill residents a dignified end of life on their own terms
• The rehabilitative mindset: We support residents in living as independent a life as possible, for as long as possible
• Electronic documentation: We document via our care system Nexus
• Person-centered care: We are trained in person-centered care and work subsequently according to the special method in relation to our residents

There are rarely two days that are the same in a nursing home. You can expect that it is often busy, and therefore it is important that you thrive in a high pace. Both residents, their relatives and your colleagues depend on you and your efforts. Therefore it is important that you are reliable and flexible. We pull together and strive to make an effort every day and we work together to reach our common goal; to give our residents the best possible opportunities for a good and dignified old age.

Once you have settled in, the focus will be on jointly planning the care and practical assistance based on the resident's situation and the municipality's quality standards. Cooperation with residents and their relatives always starts from respect, responsibility and quality of life.
