The job at Esbjerg Friplejehjem

You contribute to residents experiencing safety, presence and high quality in care, while you also collaborate closely with colleagues and our nurses.

Your tasks will include, among other things, the following

• perform holistic care and support for the residents
• observe changes in residents' well-being and health
• work with documentation and health-related tasks
• contribute to rehabilitative and person-centered care
• collaborate with relatives and other professional groups
• contribute to a safe and well-functioning night shift

We are looking for a colleague who

• is educated as a social and health assistant and can work on alternating weeks
• wants to work with elderly people
• meets residents, relatives and colleagues with respect and care
• takes responsibility and contributes to high professional quality
• is curious about development and learning
• focuses on cooperation and community

Esbjerg Friplejehjem

Esbjerg Friplejehjem opened in 2023, and we are still shaping the workplace and culture we want to be. Many of the traditions, workflows and activities that characterize the house today have been created by the employees themselves. Therefore you not only get a job with us – you get the opportunity to put your mark on both everyday life and the development of our nursing home.

We work purposefully to create a good working life, where high quality in care goes hand in hand with employees' well-being and balance in everyday life.

We have room for 60 residents and are operated by Danske Diakonhjem, which is a non-profit organization with a strong value base.

We work with the resident at the center and take the individual wishes, needs and life history as a starting point. Therefore we take care to create a daily life with presence, activity and community.

We have our own kitchen, where food is prepared from scratch, and we prioritize the togetherness around meals. At the same time, we have good facilities for activities, events and socializing with residents' families and friends.

Salary and terms of employment

• 30 hours per week
• Start date 01.01.27 or as soon as possible thereafter
• Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement between KL and FOA
