A little about the position

The position is at Gedvedhus Care Center, which is a lovely small nursing home located between Skanderborg and Horsens.

Gedvedhus frames the everyday life of 24 elderly residents, where we together lift our core task: to create the best framework for a good life for and with the people who live here. It's something we do together. Staff, relatives and volunteers.

The position is available from 1/12 or 1/1 depending on what suits you best. In the evening shift we have two teams and the position is in the team that has duty Monday and Tuesday, as well as every other weekend in the even weeks—in the odd weeks from 2027. Working hours typically 15:00–23:00, and the position is 28 hours per week.

In the evening shift you will be with 2 colleagues, where you collaborate to create a calm, presence-filled and cozy evening around our residents with care, professionalism and attention to each individual. Together with you are also our spirers, who are youths between 14 and 17, who come in the afternoon between 15-17 and keep the residents company.

To ensure coherence in everyday life around the resident, in collaboration and in professional development, every 4th week one would work day shifts Monday and Tuesday.
