SSH or SSA for evening shift in Local Team Ølby

We have welcomed more citizens. Therefore we are looking for two new colleagues for the nursing and home care in Lokalteam Ølby.

We are looking for you who are either trained as a social- and health care helper or a social- and health care assistant.

There are two vacancies in our evening shift with working hours from 15:00 to 23:00

• The first evening shift works on Monday and Tuesday and every other weekend in even weeks.
• The second evening shift works on Wednesday and Thursday and every other weekend in odd weeks.

About the job In Lokalteam Ølby we focus on holistic care and a rehabilitative approach. The individual mini-team is self-managing and covers the entire needs of the individual citizen. This means we provide nursing, rehabilitation, cleaning, training, care and assistance.

If your background is Social- and health care helper , you will handle tasks such as personal care and practical assistance and ongoing assessment of the citizen's need for help and adjustment of the care – together with the citizen. You should be willing to learn new tasks – e.g., SUL tasks.

If your background is Social- and health care assistant , you will handle tasks such as holistic care based on a preventive and rehabilitative focus, follow-up/update on the nursing-therapeutic assessment after discharge and follow-up on SUL initiatives.

About Lokalteam Ølby In Lokalteam Ølby we are about 50–60 employees consisting of social- and health care helpers, social- and health care assistants, therapists and nurses. We train both trainees and students and place high priority on learning and professional sparring. We therefore expect you to actively contribute to a positive and learning environment where they can thrive and develop professionally.

The evening shift team consists of seven colleagues, who are a self-managed team, where you have influence on your route. We have a humorous, caring and secure tone, where we help each other, share knowledge and safeguard a well-functioning interdisciplinary collaboration.

We are based at Ølby Station with good transport connections and easy access to the Køge Bugt Motorway. In the evenings all our routes are by car.

Who we are looking for It is a requirement that you are trained as a social- and health care helper – or – a social- and health care assistant with Danish authorization. You may very well have a couple of years' experience from medical/surgical specialties and/or home care.

In addition, it is a requirement that you have a driver's license for manual transmission.

• Communicate clearly and with respect for citizens, relatives, colleagues and others.
• Be aware of changes in the citizen's condition – and pass on observations
• Work with a positive and reflective mindset
• Document according to the rules. We use Nexus, which you will receive training in.

Employment is on salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement and after concrete negotiations with the representative organization.
