Are you passionate about pedagogical quality, professional development and leadership close to practice? Are you motivated by bringing people together around a common direction and creating the best conditions for children’s well-being, development and participation in communities?

Then you may be our new sous-chef at Børnehuset Bøgely.

We are looking for a pedagogically strong and engaged sous-chef who, together with the day-care manager and the department head, will lead the continued development of Bøgely – both academically, culturally and organizationally.

WE NEED TO CREATE SOMETHING TOGETHER

Bøgely is about to embark on an exciting development. Today we are organized in two separate departments, which we are working purposefully to unite into a single common nursery when we move into the new premises next autumn.

We will build on the best of both departments and together create a common culture, a clear pedagogical direction and a strong sense of belonging to one unified organization.

As sous-chef you will have a central role in this process. You must be able to create followership, engage staff and support a development where shared ambitions become concrete practice – with respect for what we already succeed with, and the courage to develop what needs to be different.

PEDAGOGICAL QUALITY WITH THE CHILD AT THE CENTER

In Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality we work from the shared ambition of a consolidated early childhood education area that can do more for more children . Three guiding principles set the direction: Increased well-being, strengthened quality and the child’s perspective in focus .

It is a direction you will help translate into Bøgely. You have an eye for the children’s perspectives and for how we create learning environments where all children feel they belong and have the opportunity to participate in strong child communities.

You are curious about practice, ask professionally investigative questions and support the staff in translating reflection into action. You can set direction and create dialogue – and you know that pedagogical development requires both trust, clarity and perseverance.

A CENTRAL PART OF THE LEADERSHIP TEAM

You will become a close partner to the day-care manager and part of the overall leadership team with the department head. We share responsibility for Bøgely’s development and work loyally together to create coherence between our ambitions, daily management and pedagogical practice.
