The Freizeit club? Actually, Fritidsklubben & Ungehuset Hampen in Ølstykke is seeking an engaged employee with a passion for dance, sport and movement – 32 hours per week.

Love dancing, kicking off activities and creating experiences that bring children and young people together? Do you have energy, good ideas and a desire to make a difference? And can you get both the dance-loving and the a bit more reserved on to the floor?

Welcome to Hampen!

We are an active youth club and a youth house on the same site in Ølstykke with around 315 registered children from 4th–7th grade and 12 engaged employees.

Hampen has one of Egedal Municipality’s largest sites for leisure activities. Here the everyday life is filled with sport, dance, music, role playing, creative workshops, gaming, 3D printing, rabbits, baking and much more.

We also have a large dance room with mirrors and sound system , where you will have the opportunity to develop and put your own mark on the dance activities.

With us, the activities are more than just activities. We use them to create relationships, strengthen communities and give all children the opportunity to be part of something. At the same time we prioritise close and trustful parental collaboration.

From the dance room to the big stages!

At Hampen we love to create big experiences together with the children!

Every year we host our own MGP with four performances and around 500 spectators , where singers, musicians, dancers and technical teams create a big show together.

We also practise towards our Club Festival , have previously performed at Clubs' Day on the Tivoli stage and every year host a Christmas show with over 100 participating family members .

As our new dance staff member you will play an important role in developing the dance activities and creating experiences that the children will remember!

Dance, sport and movement will be your home turf

You will become part of our sports team and will have a central role in the dance teaching and the other sports and movement activities.

We imagine that you

• Have experience with dance and a desire to teach children and young people.
• Can develop choreographies and dance segments for our shows.
• Are fond of sport and movement and actively participate in the activities.
• Can motivate children with different interests and prerequisites.
• Use activities to create relationships, well-being and strong communities.
• Have an eye for children who stand on the edge of the community.
• Value good and constructive parental collaboration highly.

Who are you?

Maybe you are trained as a pedagogue. Maybe you have experience as a dance instructor, sports coach or from club life.

A pedagogical education is an advantage, but not a requirement.

We are primarily looking for a person with energy, engagement and a willingness to take initiative. You meet children at eye level, dare to put yourself in play and have humor and courage to try new ideas.
