Stavnsholtskolen is looking for a teacher for the Child Environment with mathematics, physical education and – if we are very lucky – musical aptitude

At Stavnsholtskolen in Farum we are seeking a teacher for a full-time position in the Child Environment, which includes grades 1–4. The position includes mathematics for grade 1, as well as physical education and preferably music in the Child Environment. You will be part of the team around grade 1 and will be involved in class-teacher duties, joint activities, and collaboration with the parents. We would also like to hear about your other teaching subjects and competencies.

Professionalism and participation

We are looking for a teacher who can create varied teaching with clear boundaries and an eye for children's different starting points. In mathematics you should give children the opportunity to explore, practice, and gain confidence in the subject. In physical education and music you should create teaching where children experience joy in moving, expressing themselves, and being part of a community. You collaborate with teachers and pedagogues about the teaching and about creating a safe and coherent everyday life for the children.

We are looking for someone who

• is trained as a teacher and has teaching competencies in mathematics, physical education and music (or equivalent qualifications)
• has a desire to work with children in grades 1–4
• can create clear boundaries, structure and good relationships with children with different starting points
• wants a committed teamwork collaboration and shares both what works and what is difficult
• sees parents as important partners
• is curious about own practice and eager to develop it together with others.

You may be newly qualified or experienced. We care about your professionalism, your engagement and your wish to develop the teaching together with others.

We offer

You will have a fixed attachment to the grade 1 team and colleagues to plan and develop the teaching together. You will also participate in cross-collaboration across the Child Environment and will have a direct supervisor you can discuss your daily life and tasks with. The specific subject and task distribution is determined based on the school's needs and your competencies.

Salary and employment
