Support Assistant in resource hours for a fixed-term position at Åbyhøj day care

Do you want to make a decisive difference for children's wellbeing and development? At Børnehuset Digterparken in Åbyhøj Daycare, we are seeking a dedicated pedagogy assistant (pædagogmedhjælper) on 30 hours for a fixed-term position until 31/10 2027, where the support resources must be reapplied.

In the room we have educated staff who handle the task of providing pedagogical support to the child assigned resources hours, and it will be a shared responsibility to create the best conditions for the individual child in need of support, as well as the whole group of children. The child needs close adult contact, pedagogical support and secure guidance throughout the day. You will, together with the other staff, maintain a predictable and structured daily routine for the child so that they experience wellbeing, development and a good place in the child community.

The child is attached to one of our kindergarten groups, and you will work closely with the room teachers and the rest of the staff to create a common inclusive pedagogical environment.

Who are we?

Børnehuset Digterparken is part of Åbyhøj Daycare, which consists of 6 departments. We have a total of 81 wonderful children aged 0-6 years, distributed across two departments. In the infant section there are 3 groups with up to 11 children each, and in the kindergarten there are two groups with up to 25 children in each room. We use the playground daily year-round and make use of our local area in Åbyhøj, as well as take the bus for trips around Aarhus.

We are a staff group of about 18 people with a diversity of life experience and knowledge within the pedagogical field. We value our good working environment and have a curious, constructive and trusting tone of interaction among each other. We see it as a great advantage and strength to move around in our profession. Therefore we take care to welcome new colleagues well and be clear about the professional everyday rhythm, but also give space to new ideas and professional reflections. Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Final salary setting will take place after negotiation with the negotiating trade organization based on qualifications, unless the position is covered by a pre-agreement that can form the basis for the salary setting

Weekly hours: 30
