About the job

Do you want to help lift our stores on Funen and in Southern Jutland to the next level? Are you ready to take responsibility, create overview and drive development across multiple stores – while staying close to operations and the staff? Then you may be our new Store Supervisor.

Your team

You will be attached to our stores on Funen and in Southern Jutland and work closely with the stores' employees.

The district includes the stores in Kolding C, Kolding Storcenter, Fredericia, Haderslev, Odense C, Odense Rosengårdscentret, Svendborg and Nyborg.

You will become part of a strong nationwide team consisting of seven store supervisors, who perform the same role in each of their districts. You regularly spar with each other, share experiences and collaborate to develop our stores.

Your role

As Store Supervisor you will have a central role as the link between our stores and the head office (HQ). You will be the daily sparring partner for the store managers and employees and at the same time help ensure that direction, decisions and initiatives from HQ are translated into a well-functioning everyday life in the stores.

The district leadership is carried out in close cooperation with HQ management, where you exchange views on operations, employees and the challenges and opportunities you meet in the stores. Your role thus requires you to act independently in daily life and have an eye for when something should be elevated and decided in collaboration.

Your overarching task is to ensure stable operations, high performance and good welfare in the stores in your district. You do this by being physically present in the stores, following up on store performance and supporting, helping and advising store managers and employees as needed.

Your tasks will include, among other things

  • Start the day by ensuring daily staffing in case of illness, so the stores are always open within opening hours.
  • Be available to the stores for questions and operational challenges.
  • Conduct regular store visits with focus on operations, sales performance, stock, store appearance and customer service.
  • Prepare and follow up on work rosters.
  • Review sales figures, stock levels and cycle counts with the store managers.
  • Follow up on well-being and development among employees and take relevant issues forward in collaboration with HQ.
  • Participate in recruiting store staff in collaboration with HR, including screening and interviews, and coordinate onboarding of new employees.
  • Be the link between HQ and the stores by both keeping HQ informed about conditions, challenges and development in the stores and ensuring that relevant information from HQ reaches the stores.
  • Have a weekly store shift where you stay updated on our products and customer service and handle administrative tasks.

Who are you?

We are looking for a visible and engaging profile who thrives on being out among the staff and having a role with many touchpoints and tasks.

You are good at building relationships and motivation, but you also dare to set demands and follow up. At the same time you understand that the role requires both independence and collaboration. You take responsibility for what is on your plate but see it as natural to spar, coordinate and make bigger decisions together with management.

In addition, we imagine that you

  • Are outgoing and strong at relationship-building.
  • Have managerial experience – preferably from retail or a similar operations environment.
  • Are structured and good at planning and prioritizing your workday yourself.
  • Take responsibility and follow your tasks through to the end.
  • Communicate clearly and can ensure information flows both ways.

Knowledge of e-cigarettes is an advantage, but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you want to learn and can immerse yourself in our products.

The practical part

The position is on average 37 hours per week and is organized with a high degree of autonomy.

You largely plan your workweek yourself based on the stores' needs, your visits and your other tasks. The freedom goes hand in hand with close cooperation with HQ and an expectation that you keep the organization updated on activities and matters in your district. The primary working hours typically lie during the daytime, where the stores and HQ have the greatest need for collaboration and support.

A substantial part of the job takes place on the road between stores in your district, and you must therefore be prepared for a mobile workday. It is also essential that you have a driving license. As part of the role you will receive a Tesla as a company car, used for travel between stores and can be used privately.

About GEjSER

You will become part of a rapidly developing company. GEjSER has since its start in 2011 travelled from 0 to 140+ employees distributed at HQ in Galten near Aarhus and more than 50 stores across the country.

We have plenty of room to grow, short decision paths and a lot of freedom to act on good ideas. At the same time we are a company in continuous development, where we work purposefully to professionalize our workflows and create even stronger frameworks for stores, employees and customers.

The recruitment process

We conduct telephone screenings and interviews on an ongoing basis, but first and foremost we want to find the perfect match for the position. Therefore the recruitment process may take a little longer.

If you do not hear from us right away, that does not necessarily mean rejection – you may still be considered for the position.
