Strategy Partner - be part of setting the direction for our Corporate Functions

Would you like to work closely with management decisions and translate strategy into action in a company that operates critical infrastructure for society?

Electrification places new demands on the electricity grid—and on the strategic choices that will ensure both future capacity and stable operation. As Strategy Partner at N1, you will play a central role in qualifying these choices and driving progress across the organization.

Strategic sparring partner for the leadership

You will become a strategic partner for the leaders and their leadership teams within Regulation & Security, Finance, People & Culture and Communications. Your primary focus will be Regulation & Security and Finance.

You help translate N1’s overall strategy into clear priorities, concrete plans and decisions that can be put into action. You bring together analyses, business understanding and different professional perspectives – and challenge constructively when it creates better solutions.

Your main tasks will be to

• translate the business strategy into prioritized plans and initiatives for Corporate Functions
• qualify strategic choices through analyses, business cases and decision briefs
• link regulatory conditions, risks and security to N1’s strategic priorities
• drive selected strategic projects toward execution and ensure a good handover to the business
• lead monthly Performance Reviews focusing on progress, risks, value creation and need for action.

You turn complexity into clear choices

You thrive on complex issues and can translate data and professional inputs into recommendations that the leadership can act on. At the same time you build trust and momentum – even without formal managerial responsibility.

We expect you to

• have experience with strategy, business development or strategic consulting
• have a strong financial understanding and can work confidently with analyses and business cases
• be able to translate complex issues into clear recommendations and decision briefs
• work in a structured way and follow initiatives from ambition to concrete results
• be a strong communicator and facilitator who can collaborate and challenge constructively across disciplines and levels of leadership.

Experience from the energy or financial sectors or another regulated industry is an advantage. The same goes for knowledge of regulation, risk management or security. Most importantly, you can quickly understand complex interrelations and bring together different areas of expertise.

You will become part of Strategy Partnering in Strategy and report to Chief Strategy Officer Søren Schlüter. Here you work closely with the Strategy Partners for Digitalisation and Operations as well as colleagues in Corporate Strategy.

We are one team with high professionalism, open sparring and a shared responsibility to create coherence across N1. You will receive thorough onboarding, close professional sparring and good opportunities to develop as a strategic advisor.

At the same time you will have flexible working arrangements with room for both work and private life. Your workplace can be in Esbjerg or Silkeborg, and you should expect activities across our locations.
