Job description

Eurofins VBM Laboratory A/S offers a job relevant to your studies with good experience for your CV, where you get the opportunity to become confident in the workflow in a laboratory.

Your primary function will be to receive and register soil and construction material samples, as well as perform sample preparation so they can be analysed on the GC-FID and GC-MS instruments.

You will have a workplace with freedom with responsibility, where in the evening/night hours you must be able to work independently.

At weekends you are part of a weekend shift consisting of other students and gap-year helpers. Working hours can be adjusted to your schedule and there will be the possibility to swap shifts among each other, as you become part of a group of 30 laboratory assistants.

Qualifications

Your professional and personal competencies are

• You are stable, positive and have a strong drive
• You have good collaboration skills and a flexible attitude to things
• You are quality- and responsibility-conscious
• You work efficiently, structured and systematic
• The tasks require that you understand, write and speak Danish, and have knowledge of the Office package

Working hours

You will be included in the department's work plan. Typically you will have 8-12 hours weekly spread over weekdays and weekends.

Workplace

You will work at the laboratory with the address: Industrivej 1, 9440 Aabybro (close to Aalborg).

There are no buses to Aalborg after 22:30. Therefore it would be an advantage to have a car available.
