In this study job you will help our partner with daily bookkeeping and practical financial administrative tasks. You will have an important role in ensuring that the financial function is always up to date, and that invoices, receipts, payments and registrations are handled correctly.

You will also work with both accounts payable and accounts receivable as well as ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliations. Additionally you will be part of practical tasks around month-end closing, where you among other things help with reconciliations and retrieval of documentation.

The role is primarily execution-based, so you do not need to have experience in controlling or financial management. The most important is that you want to get your hands dirty in the daily bookkeeping and create structure and order in the finances.

Eksempler på opgaver

• Handle accounts payable, including receipt, verification, posting and preparation of supplier invoices
• Work with accounts receivable, including invoicing, recording of payments and follow-up on open and overdue items
• Take care of ongoing bookkeeping as well as recording and control of bank postings
• Perform bank, debtor, creditor and selected balance reconciliations
• Handle receipts, employee advances, credit notes and electronic documentation
• Contribution practically to month-end closing and retrieval of documentation for the finance function and auditor
• Maintain customer and supplier master data and assist with other administrative finance tasks

Virksomheden

You will in the student job become part of a small and down-to-earth company within the construction industry with about 56 employees, of which about 6 work in the office and about 50 are part of the daily operations out in the field. The company is located a little outside Lystrup, and you can easily get there with the light rail about 20 minutes from Aarhus, after which there is a short walk or bike ride the last stretch.
