MATERNITY VACANCY – 37 hours

We are looking for a substance misuse clinician for a maternity leave position at the Middelfart Substance Abuse Center with employment as soon as possible.

About us

Middelfart Substance Abuse Center is part of the Center for Social Psychiatry, Rehabilitation and Substance Abuse in Middelfart Municipality.

Our core task is to provide outpatient social-work and medical treatment to residents aged 15 and up with substance and/or alcohol dependence.

Treatment includes, among other things

• Individual treatment sessions
• MOVE program for young people
• Group treatment
• Couples therapy and conversations with relatives
• Medical treatment
• NADA

We work multidisciplinary and holistically with the citizen at the center, and participate in coordinated intervention pathways across partners.

The team consists of

• 5 clinicians
• 2 nurses
• 1 doctor
• 1 administrative staff member
• 1 department head

About the position

We are looking for a clinician with a social-work background – preferably with experience in substance misuse treatment.

You will play a central role in the treatment work and must be able to navigate a busy daily life with many collaboration interfaces – both internally and externally.

We expect that you

• Have the desire and energy to work with people living with an addiction
• Work with engagement, structure, and good collaboration skills
• Actively bring your professional expertise into play
• Have the ability to accommodate and meet vulnerable people
• Be skilled in relationship-building and establishing contact
• Want to be an active team player in a collegial group where collaboration, sparring, and joint development are in focus

Your primary tasks will be to

• Provide substance misuse treatment for citizens aged 15 and up
• Participate in and support coordinating pathways – especially for people with dual diagnoses
• Work across disciplines and holistically around the citizen
• Work independently while remaining loyal to joint decisions

Salary placement is according to the applicable collective agreement. The position's salary range will be from DKK 35,000 to DKK 39,000, depending on the candidate's seniority, further education and personal competencies. Salary range is monthly salary excluding pension.
