Healthcare professional leader with experience in the Optima duty roster system and health-related tasks, sought for a social-pedagogical residential facility.

Kamager seeks a healthcare professional leader, with solid experience in Optima duty roster system and extensive knowledge of the target group.

Kamager is a residential facility for 40 adult residents with physical and mental disabilities, such as autism spectrum disorders, epilepsy, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and dementia. We are run by the Capital Region.

Kamager is a workplace with about 170 employees and we are 3.5 leaders who share the management among us. We devote resources and energy to developing our professionalism to residents' needs and our way of organizing the tasks.

• You must therefore be part of ensuring that the health-related task execution is well supported.
• You will engage in sparring with the 5 care teams and the external partners we have; medical center, psychiatrist and neurologist etc.
• We expect that you understand the importance of good and safe shift planning, where employees' wishes must be combined with residents' needs. You must have the managerial responsibility for good plans. We do not have fixed plans but make new ones every 6 weeks.
• You must have knowledge of the requirements imposed on us by the Danish Patient Safety Authority (Styrelsen for patientsikkerhed) and be able to translate them into practice.
• Have responsibility for updating and implementing standards and guidelines.

Working hours

You are employed with no upper limit on working time. There will be occasional evening meetings and on-site training courses per year. We expect you to place the working hours during weekdays somewhere between 7-17.

Kamager as a workplace

Kamager consists of five care teams with eight residents each. In each team there are 8-10 permanent colleagues, as well as several permanent substitutes. We work in self-managing teams – without department managers.

Our professional approach takes its starting point in a neuro-pedagogical reference framework with emphasis on Low Arousal and a conflict-minimizing approach. We focus on the individual resident's need for support, and therefore continually adapt our requirements, objectives and methods.

Our wishes and expectations of you

You have good communication skills. The organization in self-led teams means that the team itself plans, coordinates and takes responsibility for acting on the tasks. The prerequisite for this working method to succeed requires clear communication between colleagues, as well as being good at giving and receiving feedback.

Kamager is completely smoke-free during working hours and on the premises.

The position is 37 hours per week, with no upper limit on working time.

Salary and terms of employment are according to the applicable collective agreement, supplemented with Kamager's locally negotiated agreements.
