Public health nurse sought for permanent position in the Health Visiting Service in Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality

We are looking for 1 public health nurse, 30-37 hours per week.

The position is to be filled by 01.01.27.

Are you looking for a high professional level, supervision and a high level of service with many home visits, then the Public Health Nursing in Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality might be something for you.

Over the past years we have worked on developing the early health-promoting and preventive core tasks. This means, among other things, that we offer pregnancy visits to all pregnant women, 1½ year visits to everyone, and that all families are offered the group program the Circle of Security in Family Compass.

In addition, group programs are offered for mothers and fathers with postpartum depression, group programs for parents with infants born prematurely, as well as the possibility of breastfeeding guidance by IBCLC-certified public health nurses.

The Public Health Nursing offers 4-5 day visits as well as 6 home visits/consultations for both first-time and multiparous mothers. We use ADBB, PUF and AIMS, as used in the public health nursing visits.

We have a grief group, individual conversations, examinations and teaching for schoolchildren at different grade levels.

We have a close interdisciplinary collaboration with the entire PPR, Children and Family Department, schools and day-care facilities.

We focus on having a good working environment characterized by trust, psychological safety as well as professional sparring and supervision.

We are a geographically large municipality, this means that the public health nurses only meet once a week. The other days the workday typically starts at a school or in a home visit.

Organizationally we sit in the same department as, among others, PPR, Youth Guidance, SSP and speech-hearing consultants.

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement.

A driver's license is a prerequisite.

Police and child protection checks will be obtained in connection with the employment.
