Supervisor for Operations and Service

Do you dream of working independently with tasks within the road area, such as processing and following up on excavation permits and pruning cases as well as advising contractors, etc.? Your daily job

You will, together with our current supervising employee, work closely with the municipality's road authority, with tasks such as:

• Processing of excavation and right-of-way applications
• Advise contractors and citizens in connection with the application and execution.
• Supervision of road works, and ensure that excavation setups are carried out to a quality-appropriate standard
• Supervision and case handling of pruning cases along the municipality's roads
• Ensure the quality and value of the municipality's roads

Most importantly, you

• Have a sense of order and are clear and explicit in speech and writing.
• Can act as an authority when necessary.
• Have a service-minded approach to cooperation with contractors, citizens and other partners.
• Can advise where collaboration and good dialogue are central to the work.
• Have an interest in familiarizing yourself with the IT programs needed to perform the job function: Vejman.dk, SBSYS-journalsystem, webgis maps, LER information. Driftweb, It34 and other relevant IT systems.

Educational background

We imagine that our new supervising employee has experience from similar jobs, possibly from the contractor industry, technical designer or other relevant educational background. A driving license at least category B is required.

You must have the following courses or be willing to take them subsequently

• The Road as Workplace Part 1+2 (road-EU).
• Restoration of utility trench excavations.
• Legislation in the road area.

The formal

You will become part of the road area in Drift and Service, where you will have close collaboration with the other road area employees as well as Road, Traffic and Development, which is also a department in the Technical and Environment administration. You will report to the head of the road area, Johnny Knude.

There is a 37-hour position.

Other salary and employment terms will be agreed in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
