About the job

Are you passionate about providing professional technical IT support to, among others, companies and colleagues in the group who use the customs systems in the Customs Administration?

We offer an exciting workplace with varied tasks and good colleagues, where there is opportunity for professional development and influence on your own job situation. We are expanding the Tax team in Aalborg and, with this posting, are looking for three IT fagsupporters with flair for professional support and services.

IT support with a strong customer focus

As an IT supporter in the IT Center for Professional Support, you help users of the customs systems manage their IT problems so they can quickly and as best as possible focus on their own core tasks. Your overarching task is to deliver efficient, qualified and specialized IT support combined with good service.

The IT Center for Professional Support consists of around 40 dedicated employees who handle, among other things, 1st and 2nd level support. The users of the systems are external companies seeking help with technical challenges in connection with customs declarations, etc., as well as internal users in the Customs Administration. You will be part of cross-disciplinary collaboration with system owners, system vendors and the Tax Administration, so it is important that you are able to collaborate across and adapt to the situation.

You will join a team of a total of 9 people who focus on supporting the customs systems in the Customs Administration. The team is being built in the IT Center for Professional Support, which is why many tasks require a structured approach and place great demands on analytical abilities, where processes are clarified and interfaces to, among others, partners are agreed, as well as a focus on developing and maintaining instructions and documentation for internal use.

Personal competencies

  • You are service-minded and take great pride in good customer service
  • You are able to translate technical language into ordinary language for the user and vice versa
  • You are able to understand users' challenges with the professional systems
  • You master working in a structured, analytical and goal-oriented way
  • You can analyze processes and optimize when needed
  • You are able to describe requests briefly and clearly in writing
  • You are a team player, who takes responsibility and seizes the ball

Professional competencies

  • You have experience within IT support or have a customs-related background
  • You are able to understand complex system contexts and their importance for a task flow and related troubleshooting
  • You have an educational background as IT support, relevant IT education or a qualification containing customs-related competencies combined with IT flair
  • You are familiar with ITIL processes
  • You have experience with producing instructions where the end user is the focus and communication is paramount

It is essential that you have a strong service profile, take pride in good service, and are good at communicating while also thinking about process optimization.

Good working environment, great colleagues and professional challenges

In the Development and Simplification Agency you will find a workplace where you develop your professional, personal and social skills. You work on your own tasks and have professionally skilled and engaged colleagues to spar with.

We offer an exciting and busy everyday life, where we as colleagues work together as a team based on shared tasks and shared responsibility. The Tax Administration's professional support is located in Aalborg. Therefore we can offer a broad professional environment with many colleagues. We have good camaraderie with room for humor and an informal tone, while taking responsibility and aiming to constantly improve.
