We need to strengthen our team as soon as possible

We are a team at Langeland Municipality, whose task is to provide guidance, supportive and motivating conversations in accordance with §85, §82b and §99 of the Social Services Act. We need to bolster our team and are therefore looking for a new colleague.

Our core task is to create frameworks and development opportunities for adult citizens with special challenges, so that they can live a dignified and independent life. Our efforts are aimed at citizens who have significant physical, psychological or cognitive challenges. The conversations usually take place in the citizen's own home. We take a recovery-oriented approach with our support.

All tasks are referred from the Authority Department for Disability and Psychiatry in the municipality.

We work holistically with the citizen and use sparring as development of possible actions in the individual case. We place importance on professionalism, strong individuals and a positive attitude to collaboration, as well as the ability to independently plan their working hours based on the task set and available time.

What we expect from you

• That you have a social-pedagogical or other social field education and some relevant experience. And preferably knowledge and experience with neuro-pedagogy.
• Can work independently, in a structured way and be your own driving force.
• Can build and maintain professional relationships with citizens.
• That you can apply different approaches and methods in your work with the citizen and be flexible in your approaches.
• That you can navigate targeted and sometimes time-limited courses, but also handle long-term processes. And be able to manage changes in tasks without problems.
• In writing, you can document the effort with the citizen, based on the outcome goals. (we document in the Nexus program).
• Understand the value of professional sparring with colleagues and actively participate in this.
• Are a team player, full of good humor and initiator.
• That you have a category B driving license.

Salary and employment

We offer a full-time position of 37 hours per week, but we also want to try to accommodate other wishes.

Working hours are distributed across all weekdays, primarily between 08:00 and 16:00

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with applicable collective agreement and principles for local salary formation.

Salary is set through individual negotiation, with expected starting point in Agreement on social pedagogues and pedagogical staff at 24-hour institutions, etc.

Starting salary for a trained social pedagogue is expected to be between 35,900-40,500 DKK per month (excluding pension), depending on experience/length of service.

In addition, there will be opportunities for negotiation of individual allowances based on relevant competencies.

Note: Employment is conditional on a satisfactory criminal record check.
