Svane Pleje Odense seeks a social- and health-care assistant for night shift in our outreach team

Due to busy times, Svane Pleje is currently seeking a social and health care assistant as an awake night shift for home care in our department in Odense. Your working hours are generally between 23:00 and 07:00.

We have in recent times begun a culture-building process, where participation in teams and planned time for collegial sparring is one of the daily activities that we want everyone to take part in and be responsible for – and through this you will be able to shape the department with your initiatives in the startup of this.

We are looking for a colleague who can work independently, take responsibility and provide the best care to our citizens at night. We offer a permanent position as awake night shift. We envision you to work with fixed shifts in a 7/7 rotation with start time 23:00 to 07:00. The work primarily consists of care and practical assistance to our citizens.

As night shift you will, in overlap with the evening shift and together with your night colleague, help our citizens with what they need. It will be you who supports them in living the life they want and the care and assistance they need – and you will always have a nurse and your colleagues behind you.

The tasks are diverse, but can be summarized as

• Basic nursing and care tasks
• Practical and personal care of the citizen, supporting the citizen in maintaining their dignity and creating joy of life
• Observation of the citizens with a view to early detection of illness with the aim of reporting it to our partners in the respective municipality
• Collaboration with citizens, colleagues and external municipal partners
• Documentation in the care system KMD-Nexus

You will become part of a team of aides and replacements in overlap with the evening and day shifts. We work value-based and are motivated by inclusion and influence.
