About the job

As a nurse for home care in the district Midtby Vest, you work closely with the citizen in their own home and always start from individual needs. You get a job with flexibility, and where there is a need for you to use your entire nursing breadth – from prevention and follow-up on weak and chronically ill citizens to rehabilitation and palliative care. At the same time you collaborate with hospital, GP and other partners to create coherence in the citizen's course.

In Vejle Municipality you make a real difference for people in your local area. We are seeking a nurse for a permanent position from January 1, 2027, or by agreement. The position is 30 - 37 hours in primary day shifts, with occasional evening shifts. Evening shifts are covered on a rotating basis among the four Midtby districts. When Midtby Vest is on duty, we have the nursing responsibility for all four districts. You work closely with social and health care assistants from all four districts.

There are no night shifts.

District Midtby Vest, Teglgaardsvej 15, 3rd floor, 7100 Vejle. We are a city district located in the heart of Vejle. We serve about 200 citizens. We are primarily a cycling district but have some cars available. As a district we want to be known for a high professional level, that we meet our citizens at eye level and that we are able to breathe fully into the belly and show calm around the citizen, so that the best quality is delivered at each visit.

We are looking for you, who

• Are a trained nurse, preferably with municipal experience behind you or other experience
• Can work independently, can take responsibility, and make your colleagues look good
• Have a flair for IT. Knowledge of KMD Nexus would be a big advantage
• Understand reflecting on your professional/personal presence, your communication and empathy in solving the core task and in your relations
• Have courage, ability and desire to take the nursing responsibility, also in complicated and challenging nursing tasks
• Have a natural rehabilitative mindset with room for good ideas
• Can handle multiple tasks and be flexible, as that is how a municipal nurse's shift often looks
• Like to supervise, learn from you and seek new knowledge
• You are positive and engaged with a sense of humour

Conditions of employment

Salary and terms of employment according to collective agreement and local salary.

Employment takes place according to the collective agreement for 70.01 Nurses, nutritional assistants, dental nurses, etc., sections 3-5. The expected starting salary for full-time and excluding pension is on base wage level (4 or 7) based on seniority, within the range of DKK 31,081 – 36,994. The final placement, including collective agreement basis and salary level, is set based on education, experience and qualifications and the concrete offered position.

Start date January 1, 2027, or by agreement. The hourly rate is 30-37 hours/week.
