Nurse for outpatient clinic that is part of the Psychiatric Center Ballerup

Your everyday life

You will become part of one of our F-ACT teams (Flexible Assertive Community Treatment) , where we provide intensive outpatient psychiatric treatment to patients with diagnoses within the psychosis spectrum and patients with non-psychotic conditions and low functional levels. The team provides treatment to citizens residing in Gladsaxe- Furesø municipalities. You will join a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, recovery-mentors, secretaries and social workers.

Your everyday life will include outpatient function with you as the clinical contact person as well as participation in F-ACT board meetings, multidisciplinary conferences and network meetings. We work with crisis plans, motivational interviews, suicide prevention, violence risk assessments, substance abuse treatment, medication administration and we offer various group activities. The team has regular supervision and there is always an opportunity for sparring with the other colleagues in the team.

Over the coming years, we implement a new integrated treatment offer for patients with dual diagnosis (mental disorder and concurrent substance abuse). If you are interested in the target group, there is a special opportunity to develop and challenge yourself professionally and at the same time have influence on the integrated treatment offered in the region. The tasks in the new treatment offer will be tackled together, and there is a qualification process for all employees, which you can look forward to being a part of.

Who are we

The outpatient clinic is part of the Psychiatric Center Ballerup, under Herlev and Gentofte Hospital. The outpatient clinic is geographically located at Gladsaxe Møllevej 15, 2860 Søborg. The outpatient clinic is organized with 2 F-ACT teams and a housing team. We are about 40 employees.

Salary and employment terms

The position is 37 hours per week, preferably with start date 1 January 2027 or by agreement.

The working hours in the outpatient clinic are Monday to Friday.

The position requires a driving license, as we have an outreach function and conduct home visits.

You will be employed according to the collective agreement for non-leading staff within the healthcare sector. During employment you are covered by the applicable working-time agreement between the Regions' Salary and Tariff Board and the Danish Nursing Association.

The outpatient clinic is open during daytime Monday-Friday. As a newly employed nurse you will also be attached to a specific 24-hour unit, where you participate in on-call work on Saturdays and Sundays every 6 weeks. We will of course ensure you are well prepared for the task. This happens through an individual introductory program, knowledge sharing and sparring with colleagues. And it happens through ongoing competence development based on your experiences and needs.
