We are looking for an engaged nurse for Day Surgery – a department with a large patient flow, varied tasks and a close collegial atmosphere.

About the position

As a nurse in Day Surgery you will be a central part of the patient’s overall journey – from admission to discharge.

Your tasks will include

• Receive and prepare patients for surgery
• Observe and manage nursing care in the recovery room
• Inform and guide patients and relatives in connection with discharge
• In addition there will be opportunities for specialist functions in either the dental clinic, the block room or
• as a key person for one of our many specialisms

About Day Surgery

The Day Surgery in Viborg is characterized by

• We receive patients in gynecology, breast surgery, orthopaedic surgery, organ surgery,
• special dental care and urology.

• The department is open Monday to Friday 07:00–18:30 and handles both planned
• operations and some sub-acute pathways.

We work in rotating day shifts covering the time slots 07:00–15:00, 08:30–16:30 and 10:00–18:30. As a full-time nurse you can expect about 9 late shifts (8:30 or 10) per month. We are closed on weekends and public holidays.

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement in the field.

The position is as a full-time position by default.
