Welcome to the Psychiatric Clinic for Eating Disorders

In the Psychiatric Clinic for Adults with Eating Disorders you will become part of a competent and engaged team that provides the hospital-based outpatient assessment and treatment of patients with moderate to severe anorexia and bulimia.

Our treatment is organized with a focus on the many aspects of eating disorders. We work from an understanding of eating disorders as complex disorders in which psychiatric, somatic and psychological perspectives are closely interconnected. We work closely together in treatment across professions, and a significant part of the treatment takes place in groups.

The clinic is distributed over two sites with a larger team in Skejby and a smaller team in Gødstrup. The position is linked to the team in Skejby.

We are a broadly composed multidisciplinary staff group consisting of nurses, psychologists, doctors, dietitians, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, social workers and secretaries.

About the position

As a nurse you will be a central part of the patients' treatment pathway and will have a coordinating role in the collaboration with patients, relatives and external partners.

Your tasks will include, among other things, to

• conduct outpatient treatment courses in close collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• conduct independent conversations with patients and relatives, including meal support
• undertake somatic monitoring and initiate relevant actions in collaboration with other staff
• ensure coherence, continuity and coordination in complex treatment courses
• participate in psychoeducation individually and in groups
• participate in group treatment with a focus on milieu therapy
• collaborate across sectors with municipalities, general practitioners and other relevant actors
• contribute to the development and quality assurance of clinical practice
• participate in supervision of students and introduction of new staff
• participate in alarm runs.

You will have an independent area of responsibility while becoming part of a strong professional community with good opportunities for sparring and competence development.

We want you to

• be a trained nurse/specialist nurse in psychiatry
• have an interest in psychiatry and preferably experience from the psychiatric field
• thrive with working both independently and with others
• have good teamwork and communication skills
• be able to work systematically and keep an overview in complex patient pathways
• be solution-oriented, flexible and have organizational understanding
• have an interest in professional development, quality improvement and development of clinical practice
• actively contribute to a good physical and mental working environment.

Experience with eating disorders is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Employment conditions

The position is 37 hours per week and the desired start date is 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Join the on-call coverage in the Night Ward in ADA.

Salary and employment terms in accordance with applicable collective agreement. The employment is conditional on a satisfactory child protection and criminal record check and a satisfactory authorization.
