Nurse for chronic pain patients - 30 hours per week

Nurse for Multidisciplinary Pain Center, Anesthesiology Department, Holbæk Hospital

The position is 30 hours per week with 1 weekly day off. Desired start is 1 February 2027.

As a nurse for chronic pain patients you will become part of an interdisciplinary team consisting of 6 nurses, 3 doctors, 1 physiotherapist, 1 occupational therapist, 1 social worker, 2 psychologists and 3 secretaries. We work based on a bio-psycho-social approach to pain management.

You will provide nursing care for your own pain patients.

The Multidisciplinary Pain Center, Holbæk Hospital, treats only chronic pain patients.

We receive approximately 500 chronic pain patients per year.

We expect that you

• Have several years of experience as a nurse
• Ideally have experience with chronic pain patients or chronic patients and interdisciplinary pain management
• Have pedagogical skills and be good at communicating and conveying information
• Have an appreciative approach to patients, relatives, partners and colleagues.
• Can apply nursing care in practice. Can act empathetically and professionally, even in crisis-prone situations.
• You wish to join a well-functioning team, while also being able to work very independently. As a nurse you will have an expanded responsibility and competence area around prescribing treatment and referring to multidisciplinary collaborators

Starting salary for collective agreement employees

The region is obliged to inform you about the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of base salary, centrally fixed allowances and pension under the relevant collective agreement. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
