We are seeking a nurse for the home care district Thorsvej on 37 hours or as agreed, with start on January 1, 2027 or as agreed.

In home care you will have a diverse daily life where your nursing professionalism comes into play, and where you have the opportunity to make a difference for the citizens. We work with both short and longer-term processes, and we meet citizens with many different needs – including complex nursing-related issues.

In Holstebro Municipality we work in multidisciplinary teams, where we collaborate to create cohesive and holistic pathways for the citizens. We actively use each other’s professional strengths and believe that the best solutions arise when we bring our different competencies into play.

A daily life with professional breadth and variation

As a nurse with us you work as a generalist and get a wide range of nursing tasks. You should enjoy that days are varied, and that your professional assessments and your ability to create an overview are important in meeting the citizens.

Your tasks will include

• Medication dispensing and medication management.
• Wound care and compression treatment.
• Intravenous (IV) and parenteral treatment.
• Nursing care in both short and longer-term citizen/patient pathways.
• Assessment, observation and follow-up of citizens’ health status.
• Handling of complex nursing-related issues.
• Collaboration with colleagues and other partners to create cohesive pathways for the citizens.

You will have the opportunity to use your professional skills broadly, work independently and spar with colleagues when tasks require it. We place emphasis on professional quality, integrity and an approach where the citizen’s needs are at the center.

We develop – and you can participate

We work purposefully with welfare technology and are currently implementing medication robots. In addition, we are about to start screen visits.

We are curious about how new technological solutions can support our work and create good opportunities for citizens. You will therefore be part of a workplace where we continuously develop our practice and find new ways to solve nursing tasks.
