About the job

We are an ambitious, non-profit think tank that, independent of special interests, produces knowledge, debate and networks about the child sector, primary education, upper secondary education, higher education, as well as research and innovation. It is our ambition to strengthen the basis for decision-makers and practitioners to make informed decisions for Denmark. We are a small organization that loves high professionalism as much as a great vibe.

About you

We are looking for a skilled student who is pursuing a relevant social science education (for example political science, sociology, educational science, anthropology, pedagogy or similar).

  • You have an interest in method and analysis and want to develop yourself both qualitatively and quantitatively
  • You love conveying complex connections in a simple way
  • You thrive with diverse tasks in an informal environment where everyone contributes with big and small
  • You are interested in the school sector, education and/or the research area
  • You are at the final stage of your bachelor's degree or at the start of your master's degree and want to try your hand at working in a think tank

The tasks will span broadly

  • You try your hand at exciting and agenda-setting analyses through e.g. surveys and interviews
  • You will have the opportunity to contribute with good ideas for analysis design and recruitment of respondents
  • You will receive professional sparring and the opportunity to sharpen your methodological skills with skilled colleagues
  • You contribute to the planning and execution of professional events, e.g. conferences and networks
  • You practice translating your analytical and methodological skills into societal and political impact
  • In DEA there are many balls and ideas in the air. If you are creative with many ideas for e.g. parties, staff events or similar, you will have ample opportunity to develop them in DEA

Application

We offer a weekly working time of about 15 hours, taking your studies into account. You will be allowed to work at one of Copenhagen's best addresses right beside Nørreport Station.

Send us your application, CV and transcript no later than Thursday, November 15. We expect to hold interviews in week 47.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Think Tank DEA.
