Join a 7-year-old boy on weekend trips.

Would you like to spend your weekend hours in active engagement with a happy boy? We are seeking an employee with experience with children with special needs, who will participate in the play and create safe surroundings.

About the task

A trip to the swimming pool is currently a particular hit with the boy. You can also go to the playground, take a walk, or play together. You are an active part of the time together and learn his signals to recognize them, so you can adapt the activities and help him take breaks.

The boy is 7 years old and has infantil autism, ADHD and developmental delay. He does not have verbal language, but expresses himself through sounds and gestures and by showing or fetching what he wants.

He needs fixed routines and close support, as, among other things, many people and sounds can easily overstimulate him. You help create calm and adjust the pace along the way.

Personal care is also included, as the boy uses a diaper.

About you

You have experience with children with autism and/or ADHD and can translate your experience into play and activities that fit the boy's needs. You are keen to be in the water and participate in physically active play.

If you are a trained pedagogue, you will be paid accordingly thereafter.

Working hours

We are seeking 1-2 staff for the task. Shifts are either Saturday or Sunday from 09:00–12:00.

Outside office hours there is always a staffed duty phone, so you are never alone. Salary and pension in accordance with the National Collective Agreement entered into between FOA and Dansk Erhverv. You are covered by DUOS’ liability and work accident insurance and health insurance is part of your pension scheme.
