Teacher sought for a temporary position in teaching Danish, English, as well as identity and citizenship

FGU Hovedstaden Østerbro is seeking a full-time teacher to cover instruction in Danish, English and IM distributed across four different classes on our AGU and PGU lines.

The vacancy starts as soon as possible, with an end date provisionally set for 28 February 2027.

Teaching takes place at the D, E and G levels.

Didactic principles

As part of FGU’s didactic principles, the central focus is on working with portfolios, which aim to make the student's progression visible.

Work is based on a holistic learning approach, where practice-oriented and project-oriented teaching is central to all activities.

Our students

We have a diverse, lively and wonderful group of young people who share the need for a supportive hand to help them move on in education or work. Several of our students have reading and writing difficulties, which we accommodate by creating an inclusive reading- and writing-friendly environment.

Your profile

It is advantageous if you have several of the following competences

• You have a teacher education or a comparable qualification.
• You have experience working with young people in the FGU target group, e.g. from the special education sector, VET, primary school or similar.
• You can create a structured, holistic and practically oriented learning environment for a group of students with very different prerequisites and backgrounds.
• You can build relationships and think about finding new ways to learn

Conditions and application deadline

The vacancy is 37 hours per week starting as soon as possible, with an end date provisionally the 28 February 2027.

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the Organisation Agreement for teachers and others at institutions for preparatory basic education (FGU).
