TEAM LEAD LOGISTICS

We are seeking a Team Lead Logistics, a team player who is passionate about transport, logistics and process optimization. You will play a central role in our Shipping department, where you will be responsible for ensuring high quality in our deliveries and contribute professionally to the development of our logistics function.

The job

As Team Lead Logistics you will be part of the Shipping team in Gelsted, where your tasks are focused on transport and goods flow. At the same time you will have the professional responsibility to ensure an efficient and well-functioning operation, and you will become an important sparring partner for colleagues and partners across the organisation.

Your primary areas of responsibility include

• Daily coordination and professional leadership of the team's tasks as well as own areas of expertise
• Ensuring effective and timely deliveries to customers worldwide
• Optimization of workflows and processes with a particular focus on outbound logistics
• Identification of improvement opportunities and implementation of solutions
• Participation in freight negotiations and selecting transport partners
• Responsible for daily completion of sales orders and invoicing
• Ensuring correct accounting of freight costs
• Participation in the super-user team for D365 and related systems
• Responsible for updating and implementing SOPs
• Close collaboration with Warehouse, Customer Service and Supply Chain

You will be part of a strong team of 5 employees in Shipping and will join a team of Team Leads across Logistics, Inbound, Outbound, Customer Service and Returns.

Qualifications

We imagine that you

• Are educated as a freight forwarder and have several years of experience in international transport and logistics
• Have worked with transport procurement or otherwise gained insight into the transport industry from multiple perspectives
• Have experience with order processing and logistics solutions from an international manufacturing or trading company
• Have good process understanding and understanding of coordination and information flow
• Are proficient with ERP systems, preferably D365 F&O, and WMS solutions
• Master Danish and English at a high level in both written and spoken form

As a person you are structured, solution-oriented and good at building relationships. You thrive in a role with many points of contact and can maintain an overview in a busy day. You take responsibility, work independently and actively contribute to a positive collaboration where everyone pulls together.

Experience with team leadership is an advantage but not a requirement.
